The quintessential EDC cutting tool, Kershaw's Leek Folding Knife features a sleek streamlined-design, a straight edge blade, and a bead-blasted finish on both the blade and handle. To prevent it from accidentally opening in your pocket or while drawing it, there is a tip-lock slider that locks it closed. When you need the blade, its SpeedSafe assisted opening system allows for one-handed opening by using either the dual thumbstuds or ambidextrous blade protrusion on the blade's heel to enable the folding blade to quickly and easily move out of the handle. When the blade is fully open, a frame lock moves into place to keep it in position for safe use. To close the blade, simply move the lock to the side and fold it shut.
Offered here with a matching bead-blasted finish on the 410 stainless steel handle, the knife's overall refined and minimalist look is complemented by the handle that flows with the design and feels natural in the hand. Its 3" straight edge blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N and D2 steel with a modified drop point configuration that makes it as good for piercing as it is for slicing. The Sandvik 14C28N steel forms the spine, while high-carbon, high-chromium D2 steel capable of taking and holding an incredible edge forms the working end. The reversible pocket clip is made for right-hand carry but can be moved from one end to the other to have the tip-up or tip-down depending on your preference or need. Kershaw is proud to say that the Leek is made in the USA at their Tualatin, Oregon manufacturing facility.
